Hello and welcome to the home of -(SoC)., the Sons of Combat. We hope you enjoy your time on our site and forums.
-(SoC). is a now dormant Aussie clan from the good old days of America's Army 2.x, who fell into hibernation in late 2009 with the unfortunate DOA release of AA3. Since that time we have dabbled in some other shooters and even tried to resurrect the clan with AA4: Proving Grounds. However, as with most things nostalgic, nothing has compared to the game play and community that humble old America's Army 2.x had in spades.
"GRANDMA WAS SLOW, BUT SHE WAS OLD.."
Our senior members are currently pegging their hopes on Ground Branch, an in-development shooter from indie devs Blackfoot Studios, which is aiming to mesh the best of America's Army, Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon into an immersive, realistic tac shooter for the modern day. With its future release (one of these days...) we hope to reform in full.
If you are an old timer from the good old AA days, why not drop in and say hello! We may be slow to reply but it would be great to catch up
